My son is in 4th grade and absolutely LOVES his Spanish class! He looks forward to it each week and loves to talk with me as soon as he gets in the car. I’m super impressed with how much he is learning and he even spends time outside of class practicing on Duolingo and with anyone who speaks Spanish.

Ms. Yvon is an amazing Spanish teacher. She has taught my children for two years and they've learned so much with her. She makes learning fun and is very patient with children. They adore her and we would absolutely recommend her

Yvon is a GREAT teacher! She is patient, flexible, and meets each student where they are in their level of Spanish. Her use of online tools and effects was excellent for online/zoom lessons, as I am a visual learner. She listens to your goals and ensures to implement them into your lessons so you get the most of her teachings. She has so much to offer and I would HIGHLY recommend her if you are looking for Spanish tutoring.

Señorita Yvon is awesome! She connects with every student, making Spanish exciting and accessible, no matter their skill level. Her classes are engaging, full of energy, and packed with interactive activities that make learning feel effortless. It’s clear she knows how to bring out the best in her students—whether they’re beginners or have been practicing for a while. A truly fantastic teacher, we're lucky to have her!

My two sons have worked with Yvon the past two years at this point, and we have loved doing weekly Spanish lessons with her! They previously went to Spanish Schoolhouse and started at age 4 and 5 with her as we wanted to maintain their Spanish when they aged out of Spanish Schoolhouse. She is kind, patient, and very good at engaging them and guiding them with their pronunciation as she is a native Spanish speaker. She has also taught them skills to help them with their reading, writing, and motor skills.

It's been great working with Yvon Rivera for over 5 years! She has been fantastic with our boys. She finds innovative and fun ways to boost their confidence regarding speaking and reading Spanish. We're glad to have found Gabe's Spanish Academy.

Both of my children took lessons from Gabe Spanish Academy throughout elementary school. The teachers are very caring and work with students at the level that they need. When it is time to sign up for after-school activities each semester, my children have always asked to continue with Spanish. I highly recommend this company.

My daughter has been taking Spanish lessons since kindergarten. She enjoys the lessons from Yvon as she is kind and makes them enjoyable. My daughter has private lessons with two other friends in the same grade level. They learn to speak and to read and write in their lessons and hopefully they will become fluent over time. We highly recommend Yvon and Gabe’s Spanish Academy.

My 7 year old has just started taking Spanish lessons with Senorita Yvon this year, but she has really enjoyed the Zoom and in person lessons. We appreciate Ms. Yvon adapting the lessons to the ability of the student. We are grateful to have found a teacher who has a passion for helping others grasp the language no matter how young!

Fantastic Spanish Tutor for Kids! -- Yvon is an amazing Spanish tutor for children! She makes lessons fun and easy to understand. My daughter has been a student from kindergarten to Middle School, she loves the engaging activities that are practical for daily life. Yvon is patient, encouraging, and great at adapting to my child’s learning style! Above all, Yvon is trustworthy and great at what she does. My daughter’s Spanish is really excellent now.
